 Teachflix Rating ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Teachflix is like Netflix but for school! Teachflix is a free web-based tool that houses a collection of educational videos and resources for elementary, middle school, and high school students. The videos are sorted into different categories, just like how you will find on Netflix, which makes your browsing much easier! After you choose your desired grade level, then you can browse through the different content areas. Here, you will search through the videos which can be used with your lessons. If you are looking for something specific, you can use the search bar.  Not only does Teachflix link videos to different content areas, but they also have links to a variety of read alouds in a range of languages including Spanish and Mandarin! Unite for Literacy Rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Unite for Literacy is a free web-based tool and mobile app that provides access to a range of children’s picture books.  Unite for Literacy is really big on accessibility and making sure that their books reach a wide range of children and their families. Not only are there books written in English and Spanish languages, but they are also narrated in more than 40 languages as well.  Unite for Literacy is a great tool to incorporate into the classroom and share with families. It is a site and app that I recommend along with Epic! This is mainly because it’s really easy to navigate and provides supplemental reading for a variety of different topics. Unite for Literacy offers hundreds of original picture books with a big focus on non-fiction. Students, teachers, and families are sure to find books of interest through the site’s vast collection.

Flip Rating ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Flip (formely Flipgrid) is a free web-based tool and mobile app offered through Microsoft. This tool allows users to create and share videos with others. Flip is great for creating a space where students can share ideas or respond to a particular discussion topic created by the teacher. As their site mentions, in the classroom, Flip is a tool that does the following:  - Encourage peer-to-peer learning and discussion through likes and comments - Provide a safe space for social emotional development and sharing - Build confidence by celebrating student achievements and creativity.  In my school, Flip is the platform that our daily announcements are shared through.  Jeopardy Labs Rating ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Jeopardy Labs is a free web-based tool that allows you to create a customized jeopardy game with the infamous TV show template! The games you create can be played from any device that has internet access and it's super simple to use. The template is already created for you, so all that's left to do is for you to plug in your questions and the corresponding answers.  Jeopardy Labs is a great tool that can be integrated into your classrooms a few different ways. For instance, you may want to quiz your students on how much they know about a particular topic to gauge their pre-exisitng knowledge. Or perhaps you want to test their knowledge after teaching a lesson-- either way, it's a fun tool that can be used to engage students in the classroom.  I think a component that makes Jeopardy Labs such a nice tool is it's customizability. Aha! Puzzles Rating ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ For today's web-based tool, I will be talking about the website called Aha! Puzzles.    I was recently introduced to this website and have just fell in love with it. The website itself is filled with different puzzles and games, but in particular I have a fascination with the logic puzzles.  For those who may be a bit unfamiliar, logic puzzles are simply a style of puzzle that involves the mathematical process of deduction and logical reasoning.  The site is completely free to use and includes a large array of puzzles ranging from very easy to hard puzzles.  What I think sets this website apart from many others is not only their vast options, but also their ranging options in free printable logic puzzles. Vooks Rating ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you are familiar with Sora and Novel Effect, Vooks is like a combination of the two! Vooks is a web-based tool that really brings eBooks to life through beautiful animations, narrated read-alouds, and music and sound effects.  Aside from the variety of books they offer, they also have free recourses for teachers. For starters, they have lesson packs that correspond with the books called teacher support kits, activity and craft videos, and even Zoom backgrounds!  Check out one of their activity and craft videos here!
